It's all in the name...Cherry
Pie ART Stamps. If you love art, then this is the stamp company
for you. Originally from Italy, Cherry Pie has recently relocated
to the U.S. but has definately not lost their European roots.
Cherry Pie has 21 categories of stamps with at least half of
them containing art images. These stamp images include famous
artists such as Gustav Klimt, Dali, DaVinci, and Botticelli.
If you like your art stamps a little smaller they also offer
some of those images in the Postoid section, just perfect for
an added touch. Cherry Pie also has a nice selection of Asian
images (I especially loved the Japanese marbles) and Egyptian
stamps. Their European heritage is evident with a large selection
of Italian images, including Italian script, old maps and architexture.
I especially loved the French items to use in my France scrapbook.
All of these stamps would be perfect for the Artist Trading
Cards which are so popular right now.
If you scrapbook and have kids, there are some great treasures
to be found! My oldest son plays violin so the old notes and
music chart stamps would be a fitting accent for his album.
The ink splatter and ink spray are perfect for your kid's artwork
pages. Consider taking a digital photo of your kid's artwork
and adding several photos to one scrapbook page. These ink stamps
are just right for creating a great backround to showcase their
works of art. Cherry Pie also has a category for Halloween items
and also a handprint stamp that would be perfect for a newborn
baby. Perhaps you vacation at the beach every year with your
kids, they have several stamps with beachs and waves.
Cherry Pie Art Stamps also carry the old stand-bys that every
scrapbooker loves. Crackle finish, diamond patterns with both
positive and negative images, beautiful leaf sheets, dragonflies
and butterflies. If the vintage or heritage look is more your
style, there are several categories containing old keys and clock
faces.
The website was very well organized and easy to navigate. All
of the stamps offered by Cherry Pie Art Stamps are unmounted
but very easy to attach to a stamping block. They also offer
a variety of gifts through Dragonfly Dreams. Beautiful shirts,
mugs, magnets, pins, totes, tiles and clocks, perfect gifts for
someone who appreciates stamping and art. I would highly recommend
taking a look at the Art Gallery which showcase the owner's cards
and collages. Marina's work is unbelieveable and sure to inspire
you!
So, if you have taken a trip to Europe, or just love their architexture
and style, be sure to stop by and take a look at Cherry Pie Art
Stamps. They have such a large and varied selection of images,
it is easy to please everyone. You may even be inspired by the
great works of art available on stamps, and maybe, create your
own work of art. |
