Rubber Stamping & Scrapbooking with
"Cherry Pie Art Stamps" - February 2006
By Design Team Member Martha Myers

Cherry Pie Artstamps are just what their name implies…art stamps. The owners hail from Italy (although they are located in the US now) and their images reflect their international art influence.

Cherry Pie is an online company whose unmounted images are divided into 21 categories. In addition to the single images available, they also sell full sheets which contain numerous images within a theme. Themes include well-known artists, women, scenery, wings, hardware, Italy, and various collage and decorative elements. Well known for their Italian images, Cherry Pie also has an extensive collection of individual scenic images, cats and postoids. However, my favorite images are the numerous collage and decorative elements available and, of course, their timepieces. They also have quite a number of Klimt, Dali and DaVinci images to bring out the artist in you. The images work particularly well with watercolor and grid techniques and can be used singly for a simple card or combined for more elaborate collage techniques. The website has an extensive gallery that is well worth looking at…there are numerous samples to provide inspiration and an enjoyable escape into the world of art.

So… if you want to create rubber stamped ART, a good place to start is with Cherry Pie Artstamps. Here are a few samples of things I did with some their images:
